I wanna make friends with the badger
Another month, another WYSIWYG! Last night's show was a blast, although we woefully missed out on the delicate flower that is Blaise K., as she was too flu-ridden and sickly to make it. Feel better, puddin'!
I've been looking for any online mentions of last night's show online; just a few so far but, as always, I'll add any additional links I find. Apparently there were quite a few new blogfolk in the audience, only a few of whom I ended up meeting. Say hi next time, people! I won't bite! I may hump your leg though, so it's totally up to your judgement.
* Ned talks about last night on his blog. (Ned is also in the Times today. That media floozy!)
* Bloody Sheets attended and has her rundown here.
* Michael Barrish's deliciously twisted story from last night was already online right here. Can I just say right now that I've heard Michael do this one before, and I LOOOOVE it? Also, whenever I think of that story, two things invariably compete for ohrwurm status: that goofyass Weebls-Stuff.com badger movie, and the Dead Milkmen's "Badger Song."
* Chris G has his rundown here, with pics!
* Todd Levin's got part of his story (tease!) online here.
* Alice Ayers has her review here.
* Culturebot's rundown is here.
Oh, and Chris G hasn't posted his song from last night, but you can hear lots of other stuff he and his bandmates have done on his music blog including a top-notch cover of Journey's "Separate Ways."
I have to say, I think this was one of the funniest, if not THE FUNNIEST, WYSIWYG of all. I laughed the entire time. Everyone who read/played should totally be commended, especially those who turned really fucked up experiences into hilarious ones.
