— Spawn of WYSIWYG! —
BlogJam DC was an resounding success (in spite of Wonkette cancelling on them at the last minute just like she did on us - okay, basically, if she's committed to doing your event and something bigger comes along she'll ditch you like a hot potato). Kvetch, kvetch. Anyway, there's a very nice Metro Weekly article on the event. Much congrats to Jimbo, who was inspired to put together BlogJam DC after performing at our June "That's So Gay!" show, and thanks for his kind acknowledgement in his more detailed responses to the Metro Weekly folks. I feel I have to point out, though, that the June show wasn't just gay men -- we did have two dykes and a pair of adorable fruit fly girls on the bill that night too!
Speaking of past shows, we have a bunch of pics up from "Psychos I Have Dated or Worked For (or Both)" and hope to have some videos from the show up soon.
Also, another congrats to another WYSIWYG alum, Rachel Kramer Bussel on her latest step towards world media domination: becoming a columnist at the venerable Village Voice! Huzzah and kudos!
