WYSIWYG Founding Father Gets Published On Real Paper
Paul Ford performed at our very first WYSIWYG ("Worst. Sex.
Ever.") in February of '04, before we even started calling it WYSIWYG.
From 2003 until this May, Paul wrote pseudonymous pieces for The Morning News posing as a 22-year-old Williamsburg alt-rocker named Gary Benchley. Benchley's popularity won Paul a book deal and great press from The New York Times.
Might his newfound fame and fortune have something to do with his role in ushering in The Age of WYSIWYG?
