Years, All Stories Are Fiction, Wasting Your Breath, and
I Miss The Cold War, have been performed all over the
world. His latest, The Ugly American, has received
workshops at Manhattan Theatre Club, the Cape Cod Theatre Project,
P.S. 122, and will receive full productions this spring at ACT
Theatre in Seattle and at the Spoleto Festival in South Carolina.
More conventional jobs he has held include stints as a security
officer, web pornsniffer, high school teacher, blood plasma
seller, archivist, telemarketer, roofer, cow innard remover,
law firm receptionist, cold-caller, rape counselor, DJ, freelance
writer, accountant, night janitor in a home for the violently
mentally ill, and dot-com wage slave. He is currently creating
a dark office comedy for HBO, writing his second book, and telling
new stories in residence at P.S.122 in New York City. On the
